This story hits close to home only I wasn’t blessed with Original Farm Tractor Reindeer Fun Ugly Christmas Sweater Farmer Gift sweater. Instead I was blessed with a wonderful sister who grew up with the same hate filled racist parents as I did. But we had each other and we were gifted with intelligence and the ability to see through the hatred. To our parents faces we agreed to everything our parents told us then we’d hide in our room and discuss how sorry we felt for them. They never knew love, they were raised on hatred and racism…Yet, somehow at the young ages of 7 and 8 my sister and I could see that they’d never been loved they’d only been taught to hate.
