I have gotten dogs from rescues and Got 99 problems but a Chromosome ain’t one shirt from a responsible breeder. I’m saying that we need to work on both ends to help with the dog population. It would be a shame if the world no longer had unique breeds of dogs. Much of the problem is irresponsible people. They want a cute puppy but cannot care for such a high energy dog. Our breeder made us sign agreements that we’d take our dog to obedience classes and that if for any reason we could not keep the dog we have to return him to her. She does not want her puppies in shelters. People line up to get her dogs because they are terrific.

I’d rather they all be mutts than continuing to slaughter millions of unwanted pups each year. Intentional breeding is the most irresponsible type of all. That’s why we have pugs who can’t breathe through their smashed faces, chihuahuas notorious for their need to have their teeth pulled, and Got 99 problems but a Chromosome ain’t one shirt and labradors with hip dysplasia.
Best Got 99 problems but a Chromosome ain’t one shirt
I adopt Got 99 problems but a Chromosome ain’t one shirt from abusive backgrounds and shelters only because they’re such an overly abused and neglected breed. In addition to the abuse regular dogs face, it’s considered normal in many places to cut half their ears off and most of their tails! Overbreeding them is creating extreme health issues that cause them pain, suffering, and early death despite good medical care.
