I wake up around 10:30. I had planned to get up by 9, but that’s definitely out the window now. I’ve got a lot to do this morning. Total comes out to $25.54.When I get back, H lets me know he is hopping in the shower and he put a load of laundry in. That will take 2 hours, but we aren’t in a rush so I begin putting together the ice chest and chopping up the ingredients we need for our camping meals. I use an empty bottle for milk so we don’t have to take a full gallon, a Smuckers mason jar for the vodka, take twelve eggs out of the Costco pack and place them in a smaller carton, and I dole out small amounts of condiments into small rubbermaid containers. By the time H is freshly showered, dressed, and halfway through the laundry, I have packed my small Mazda2 hatchback with our ice chest, mini ice chest, our camping box, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, two camp chairs, one beach umbrella, and my collapsible wagon (I recommend you get one of these—best purchase ever!). I had to put down two of the backseats to accolade the items, leaving my dog with one seat. She will not be impressed with me. That’s okay

We had wanted to pick up ice but decided we would get ice closer to Lake Tahoe.
