why would facebook go through the trouble of paying for dozens of workers with dozens of phones each, when any SLINGER WI WISCONSIN Varsity Style USA Vintage Sports shirt dev with DB access could just modify records however they see fit?as a fellow web dev, this behavior doesnt make sense if its coming from the same company. they could write a bot within their own app to do this hundreds of times every second if they want, they could deploy any number of these bots. it only makes sense if they’re trying to trick the website/application in questionHey man, i know it’s frustrating to run ads and get no sales, but that’s not what’s happening here. I run ads for a living, ‘Impressions’ just means ‘someone saw your ad’, it doesn’t mean clicks. That’s a separate stat. I’d recommend creating an ad through the FB ads manager instead of using the “boost”. You get a lot more tools that way.

Although what they’re doing feels unethical in certain ways, I feel to me it’s perhaps SLINGER WI WISCONSIN Varsity Style USA Vintage Sports shirt more disturbing that the people doing it are being charged as criminals. I can see it being a civil matter (i.e. they can get sued for violating terms of service or something).. but on what basis is it a criminal matter? Presumably there’s a law that they’re violating, but I don’t know what that would be.It’s fraud. They’re de-frauding the people who paid for the ads. That being said I don’t think the workers should be charged. Just the people who organized this. Edit: a lot of people are trying to compare the workers to drug dealers. That’s just a really bad comparison.
