The first book that changed my life, was the same one that initially got me into reading as a child. It was The Mom Life Softball Volleyball Mothers Day Messy Bun Shirt , which I read for a book report in second grade. It was the first time I was ever really interested in reading, and I’d say it was the first novel I ever actually read from cover to cover. The second book that changed my life was also for a school assignment, but much later in life, in tenth grade. It was Flowers For Algernon. It was the first book that I had ever cried while reading, and boy oh boy did I freaking cry while reading that book. It’s really beautiful, and pretty short if anyone’s looking for a quick book. The last one that changed my life was fairly recent. It’s actually a series of books known as The Remembrance of Earth’s Past trilogy, or more commonly known as The Three Body Problem Trilogy. It’s a Sci-Fi series that I finished last year. Since reading those books, I have a completely new found interest, and fear of the wide universe. More specifically it has made me do some fun internet sleuthing about cool topics such as Black Holes, Faster Than Light Travel, and The Fermi Paradox.

Prometheus Rising by Robert Anton Wilson. It talks about Mom Life Softball Volleyball Mothers Day Messy Bun Shirt information/phobias are imprinted onto us at different stages in our life cycle. It really gave me a perspective on how we all see the same things differently with our own lenses or reality tunnels.A memoir from a former psychologist and Holocaust survivor. He beautifully lays out his journey through the atrocities he experienced and how he was able to persevere during and after all of it. His philosophy on life and human beings is absolutely beautiful, and I think it is a book that everyone should read at least once. I still live my life by some of the lessons I learned in his book. Come to think of it I am due for a reread of it.
