can we pls stop pretending this is some sort of mysterious problem that needed 30 years Leaf me alone antisocial shirt research to conclude? Whether you want to accept it or not, women’s sports have very low viewer ship. Once we accept that, we need to stop blaming corporations for not treating them the same as there male counterparts. In no world does it make sense that leagues like the WNBA should have salaries equal to the NBA just based on the argument that “women deserve to be paid equally to men.” Bc no one is arguing against that concept. But the reality is, this is not not that. If no one is watching there games, then there are no big incomes from advertising deals and what not. Thats not the men’s fault. That’s not the fault of the ppl who don’t want to watch that shit! The truth of the matter is that people want to see the best that sport has to offer. That’s what makes sports fun. There’s a reason women’s sports exist and that because they cannot keep up with the competition of men. A little known fact about the PBA (bowling), is that the PBA is not a men’s league. It’s open to everyone. And you NEVER see a women win championships or even rarely in the finals. However there is a women’s PBA league. Why would they make a PBA women’s league if the regular PBA is unisex? It’s because women cannot compete fairly in that environment.
Best Leaf me alone antisocial shirt
It’s weird that like every person who commented didn’t read the fucking article and keep Leaf me alone antisocial shirt about how no one pays attention to women’s sports. The point of the fucking article is saying the reason no one pays attention to women’s sports is because they don’t even try to get you to pay attention. If someone said they didn’t like basketball so they didn’t ever watch or read or hear anything about basketball would they ever love or like basketball? No of course not. That’s what the article is saying. It’s a cycle where people don’t care so it’s not covered or not covered well so no one pays attention so because no one is paying attention it’s not covered.Thank you for pointing this out. It is surprising to me that no one will consider that maybe women would like to watch women’s sports if it was socially acceptable to do so. Women who are interested in sports are funneled into watching men’s sports because that’s what’s available and everyone in this thread explains it by saying “all sports fans—women included, only want to watch the most talented athletes.” That doesn’t explain why things like college basketball are popular.
