A couple of years ago I loaned my copy of The Thing  to a co-worker. He was pretty young  and wanted to start getting into horror movies, I was really keen to hear how much he enjoyed Kids Mummy T Rex Monster Truck Dino Toddler Boys Halloween Kids T Shirt for the first time. He gave it back to me a week later with a blank expression and said it was “pretty boring”.I didn’t bother recommending any more movies to him after that.Unpopular opinion but I think The Thing (1982) is good but not great. I had always heard such amazing things about the film, but when I sat down to watch it a month ago I was mildly underwhelmed. Clearly the visual effects are great, but the story was fairly straightforward and predictable. Of course it was groundbreaking at the time, but movies like Hereditary, The Witch, and The Wailing are better viewing experiences in my opinion.

Just a personal opinion – but I don’t think anything can be accomplished until we come to agree on the definition of ‘affordable housing.’ It’s too subjective. I can’t think of one as good but I did like “It Comes at Night” which shared many of the same themes. I believe it to be an underrated film, whereas The Thing is rated exactly where it should be — almost universally regarded as excellent.
