This album took a while for it to grow on me. I think I gave it a 5.8 or something on my Dogs And Baseball Make Me Happy Humans Make My Head Hurt shirt of it. And yeah it has gotten higher since then, but not because my problems have faded, if anything it has gotten higher, I just think the highs of the record grew on me a lot more. The harmonies are fantastic, arguably the best of any duo, even Brooks & Dunn. The lyrics are still cheap to me, with the upbeat songs, they feel like the songs you’d here while shopping in a mall, but the breakup songs are definitely the highlight of this record. While I don’t think they are as good as the ones in Gaslighter, the filler of this record isn’t as bad as the songs on Gaslighter.

When this record is on it’s central narrative, it’s in its prime. One Heart To Another is probably my favorite Dogs And Baseball Make Me Happy Humans Make My Head Hurt shirt . Water In His Wine Glass, encapsulates the best aspects the record possesses. I couldn’t have asked for something better, its just amazing. The fun moments towards the end are a bit better but the beginning and middle filler bring it down a lot for me. The Collab with Dierks Bentley is great and a sex jam I enjoy, as 90% of them make want to barf. Die From A Broken Heart is amazing, and I’m glad lots of people have heard the song and discovered this fantastic duo. Overall it’s a solid record, I rescind my original review of it and yeah it is definitely worth your time.
