I lift and always told myself that BMI is bullshit because of how much muscle I have. I started getting into boxing and started to cut weight. I was able to make it down to a healthy BMI without losing any muscle mass. I’m not some body builder or anything, but at my gym, outside of a handful of trainers who lift competitively, it’s rare that someone has enough muscle that would put them over a healthy BMI. Having more muscle makes Dilf Dang I Like Farming T shirt harder, since there’s less margin for error. I’m fine with being “overweight” because of that. But there’s way too many people that fall into “obese” that tell themselves it’s only because of the muscle they have, which is definitely wrong.
